Barcelona, Girona & Tarragona Climate & Temperature Averages

In the case of the Barcelona climate in the winter average temperatures in December have a range of between 5.7 and 14.3 degrees celcius. The temperature values for the Barcelona climate increase in the springtime reaching a range of 6.7 to 15.9 degrees celcius in March.

Summertime is hot and in June the Barcelona temperature ranges between an average minimum of 15.7 degrees and a maximum of 24.2 degrees. In the autumn Barcelona temperatures begin to fall and by September the temperature range is between 16.7 and 25.5 degrees celcius.

The Girona temperatures in the January winter month fall in the region of a minimum of 1.0 and a maximum of 12.8 degrees on average. After winter comes spring and the Girona climate warms with mean temperatures in April in the range of 5.8 to 17.8 degrees celcius.

In July the summertime Girona temperature range is from an average low of 16.7 degrees to an average high of 29.2 degrees celcius. Average temperatures beging to fall in the autumn so that in October the Girona climate has records of mean temperatures of between 9.7 and 20.9 degrees low and high respectably.

The climate of Tarragona in the winter is cool with mean temperatures in the night falling to 5.1 degrees in February. In the day time temperatures reach a maximum of 15.0 degrees. Later in the year temperatures in Tarragona in May reach 21.5 degrees by day falling over night to 11.9 degrees celcius.

In August the Tarragona temperature is in the range of 19.3 and 28.8 degrees before the Tarragona climate begins to cool in November when the mean maximum temp is just 17.2 degrees. At this time of the year the mean low temp is in the region of 7.6 degrees.

    Great post….

    Anyone going to Gerona with children can do in all seasons of the year. The temperatures are very pleasant also in the winter months.

    We are thinking of moving to the Terragona region. The house prices are much cheaper than in the Costa Brava. You can get a small finca with a pool for around 100,000 euros, almost half the price of Costa Brava
